I believe individual healing ripples exponentially into the healing of our collective consciousness.

Sanaz Yaghmai, Psy.D, RYT-200

Sanaz is a resilience coach and consultant who is trained as a psychologist and trauma-informed yoga teacher. Her passion lies in partnerships which aim to create safe, accessible spaces that enhance psycho-social well-being of individuals/communities by addressing the impact and nuances of trauma and implementing trauma-informed care practices.

Beginning in 2018 Sanaz started offering donations based/free trauma-informed yoga healing circles in Los Angeles, London, and at a refugee camp in Greece. For information on her more recent work, see partnerships.

She is also bilingual in English and Farsi and is interested in bringing these services to farsi speaking communities around the world.

Sanaz’ foundational coursework and graduate training in psychology is centered around family systems theory with an emphasis on multicultural competency. Her post-doctoral training allowed for in-depth clinical practice working with individuals and groups along a spectrum of mental health concerns; from everyday stressors, mood disorders, and dual diagnoses in outpatient settings, to severe psychopathology, behavioral misconduct, and crisis intervention in the prison system.
