I slept and I dreamed that life is all joy. I woke and I saw that life is all service. I served and I saw that service is joy.

Women survivors of trauma* interested in exploring self-healing practices.

Offering embodied yoga healing circles, I incorporate traditional supportive group sharing experiences with mindful, introspective and trauma-informed yoga practices. These circles have been described as empowering and beneficial in improving sleep and emotion regulation.

*Trauma can be defined as; physical, sexual and emotional abuse; sudden/violent death of a loved one; serious injury; community-based violence; systemic oppression; forced displacement or political violence.

These groups are often at risk of developing vicarious trauma and burnout due to exposure to high levels of stress.

Listening Circles:
Dedicated to courageous conversations, I hold space for listening sessions for the aid worker community. Holding space for stories, self-care building and community strengthening as well as yoga.

Humanitarian Aid Resiliency Training (H.A.R.T):
Training designed for the on-boarding of aid workers addressing secondary trauma and resilience building . With an emphasis on the neuro-physiology of trauma we explore compassion fatigue, secondary trauma, and systemic trauma. Yoga and mindfulness based practices are also integrated, strengthening the mind-body interplay.
